Ashley currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina. She is the Co-owner of From the Ashes Cultural Arts & Counseling LLC and Co-Founder of By Any Means AVL (non-profit). Ashley enjoys the outdoors, hiking, traveling, reading, engaging in community events, and spending time with family and friends.

She received her  Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology at the University of Houston-Victoria and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, splitting her undergrad years between Winston-Salem State University and Emmanuel College. She is licensed as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Clinical Supervisor Intern (CSI), Certified Anger Management specialist (CAMS II), and a Substance Abuse professional for the Department of Transportation.
